18 Feb KARKHANDAR SCHEME By : Handicrafts Date : 18-02-2022 karkhandar scheme envisaged to revive the languishing crafts, upscale the learning techniques of trainees, to improve the wage earnings of the craftsmen by leading them into collectivization and to create linkages with producer organizations to inculcate entrepreneurship in them. Pass-out meritorious trainees from training centers run by Handicrafts & Handloom Department / EX. trainees are eligible. However, in case of languishing crafts no such condition is applicable. Under this scheme as financial assistance rate of stipend per trainee/per month is Rs. 2000/-(Rs. 1000/- shall be paid in cash through individual bank account and rest of the amount shall be disbursed on the successful completion of probation/practical training session). Logistic charges / Honorarium to Trainer / Karkhandar is Rs. 25000/- per batch in two equal instalments of Rs. 12500/- as logistics charges and Rs. 2000/- per trainee per month.
